i hate guys :'(

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 7:00 am

before you speculate or whatever, this is HONEST and true to the bone right here, i am in no way shape or form lying.

last week i remember seeing a thread about hearing dismembered screams in the forests around falkreath, this lead to the belief that there could be some easter egg/ghost/elk/whatever and there were suggestions relating this to the two scary books of skyrim "the cabin in the woods" and some other book.

well it all started last night when i was tucked in my bed... i started dreaming that i was in a dark forest with a friend, we had a lantern and we were talking to each other and all of the sudden he was gone and so did my lantern!

only the stars light up the forest around me and all of the sudden i heard a huge wailing scream, i didnt know WHAT the hell was going on so i started running for my life as the screams got closer.

the dream then skipped to me crawling into a rock shelter and i was curly up, i then remember looking at the pitch black rock walls around me starting to illuminate in words, then for some reason i was thinking "THIS IS THE CABIN IN THE WOODS!"

i followed the words and turned around and BAM at the entrance of the shelter was a stick thin woman with no eyes, rotten flesh, and long sharp teeth screaming at me

i then woke up!

seriously guise, i could remember this damn dream and this has been my first nightmare that i have ever had at least a couple of years!

EDIT! omg the title is supposed to say "i hate YOU guys :'("

main reason is because i was never aware of these books and speculation until a couple of nights ago lol :)

Thread title is a wee bit misleading, I came in here thinking this was a thread about men and how you hate them.

I've never had a Skyrim dream, but that is a bit wierd.

Are there dismembered screams in the forests of Falkreath? I didn't notice.

I remember someone saying about seeing the ghost of the woodcutter's wife tho.

i can't remember the full story of the thread but the OP was in part of falkreath forest around 2-3am and near some cave "forgot name" and he hear dismembered screams and wailing

people then suggested it was an elk, then people started refering to the books of "the cabin in the woods" and the woodcutters wife? i reeally cant remember the name of that one :S

Wait a second there, you took shelter in a dark rocky cave in your dream?

Are you crazy!? There could've been a Giant Forstbite Spider in it.

I had two different Skyrim related dreams; One, I was Molag Bal walking in what seemed to be a small modern town(weird, I know). And there was a blond woman walking in this medieval/modern hybrid town, coming closer near me. I will not get into any detail further than that. I might get banned.

Second dream was vague, but I was just running through the forest and then I jumped into the water or something. I know it was Skyrim because it was a pine forest.

it was like... some huge rocks sticking out of the landscape and there was a bit of shelter underneath it, like those shelters that bears and trolls have around skyrim, not a cave

Not gonna lie, I thought this was a coming out tread posted here by mistake. (well not coming out so kind of coming in?)
But anyway, it just goes to show that Bethesdas book writers did such a good job.
All i dreamt about Skyrim was that the cave in the film Outlander was a dragon lair.
sigh

Mmm not so scary for me. Instead i was like "Woooo!! i can't wait to see where he'll bring me to"

The most scary location in a Bethesda game has got to be Springvale School in Fallout 3.
I dunno, just walking into an abandoned school with no music in the background creeped me out alot.

Back to topic tho.
My skyrim dream was that i was at High Hrothgar looking down at the lands below.
The music of Sovngarde played at the background. It just felt so good.

Anyways, I did have one cool dream of Skyrim.
I was myself, not my character I created in it, however I got attacked by a Dragon and it's teeth were literally piercing through my body.

But the weird thing was, it didn't dismember me, nor did I feel any pain but the Dragon did throw me around alot.

Anyone else remember the thread that brought the book to our attention and had us all hunt for the Woodcutter's Wife? Good times.
