Really? REALLY?! You're taking down videos of skyrim footage on Youtube, ZeniMax/Bethesda?!?!?!??!!??!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sNuFNZijnCo video was extremely popular, very funny, and it was featured on machinima... and now it's been taken down due to unfair copyright claims from ZeniMax, and I suspect, Bethesda too.
Gah, I read the forum rules and most of the TOC linked from it, but
tl;dr (same when installing the game)
I'm sure a mod will read this--what's the official word with posting YouTube vids? How will that affect users posting how-to videos when the CK is released?
They are normally pretty good with MW, OB, FO3 and F:NV content. However, if it displayed their product as a negative, as you say child killing, even if it was in a satirical or in good humour manner, i can understand them taking it down.
It involves child killing, so that's probably why it was taken down. It was a very fun video though.
If that is the case, then that is most certainly why it was taken down.
I don't think Zenimax cares about general footage. Hell, it's free advertising for their games. But when it's about a forbidden topic such as harming children, they shove copyright down the creators throat, as they rightfully should.
Ugh, just pathetic. The greed of these companies knows no bounds it would see. And I don't care what the video is about...(especially since preferential ageism is irrational anyway). Its not as though the people who upload these videos are making a dime off of the videos, so what exactly is the big deal?
