Someone made some mod for FO3 where you could fly a vertibird and fly around shooting things or something. Unfortunately I don't remember its name, anyone else know? It was cool, but not practical. So for NV I also dont think it would be.

Are you serious? Anything is possible. This is like when the Wright brothers were like, "WTF i wanna flieh how doo eye?" and then did it and found out. But now that we know how, it shouldn't be too hard to get supplies and stuff to make some sort of flying plane.

And my giraffe should be able to transform into a jet with built in spray cans, and he should be able to shoot lightning bolts from his hooves, and he should be able to own a shop that sells giraffe related goods. It'd be even better if they added a female giraffe in the game so I could set him up on dates and they could develop a romantic storyline.

Eh, I just doubt that anything as sensitive as a jet engine could last 200 years. It would be nearly impossible to manufacture one. And lets not forget the lack of jet fuel.

Well for one to survive, yeah it's almost guaranteed it wouldn't survive or it would but would need repairs. To make one is more plausible. And nah, I don't want to argue, I'm just saying...

No not a private jet that doesn't fit in, maybe a vertibird or the gyrochopter from mad max 2. Actually I would rather have gyrochopter its more falloutish.

Yeah, I think a private jet would have decayed to nothing a looooooong time ago since it's been quite a long time since there's been any fuel for one. I mean, come on, jet engines burn through gas really, REALLY fast. Besides, I think I already read somewhere that the flying submarine that shoots rainbow-colored death bubbles was in.

I'd rather have an old car that has some storage and takes the place of fast-travel, though. At least there would be a rational explanation for fast travel then. You could also do some cool quests involving it getting stolen and such.

No. Keep out the private jet and keep out the vertibird. If any vehicles are going to be usable, they should be land vehicles, but even those aren't too good of an idea outside of making travel time faster. I'd much prefer that if we have housing we just expand the amount of houses you can buy. I don't want to simply be restricted to a house in this town or in this tower. Plus how would you land that thing? Jets fly a lot faster than helicopters and don't have as much flexibility as a copter. That is the advantage of the Vertibird; it can land virtually anywhere. A jet on the other hand needs a hell of a landing strip.

When I think about a post-apocalyptic environment, with people struggling to survive, raiders that kill the innocent, and living hell every day, I definitely think about driving a [censored] jet while blasting Never Gonna Give You Up.
