I have a question about a program

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:10 pm

Alright, i have a program installed and i cannot figure out why, but it says it takes up 60 GB of hard drive space.
It's confusing because i know it cannot take that much space.

Anyone know what would cause this?

Honestly, I would ask her if you could just chat you yahoo IM or AIM. IMVU is a terrible program from what I hear, isn't it the one that pops up on terrible websites? :P

From searching on an IMVU forum it appears to be a cache problem.

http://www.imvu.com/catalog/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpbb2&file=viewtopic.php&t=294656

Google brought me this result for clearing the cache in IMVU.

http://avatars.imvu.com/CacheCleaner
Hope that helps. :)

It's got ad's all over, but it isn't that bad. I've gotten no viruses or anything from it.

I guess it's kinda like second life, except you can't really walk around or anything.

Thank's crippknottic.

Somehow missed that in my searching before.

If it's worth anything, my sources indicate the program to contain spyware, and the site is currently engaged in phishing activities.

What does Xbox Live have to do with anything? There are plenty of good voice chat programs for the PC for free.

Xbox Live = Voice Chat + Activities

Rainbow Six Vegas, Terrorist Hunt, or even Left 4 Die and Left 4 Die 2 are tons of fun. Halo Reach has good coop.

I don't see what you are getting at. PC has voice chat programs and games also.

RROD or other problem?

No warranty on it to have it fixed by MS?

When you say you was going to give her your old xbox, was it so she can play online with you?
