I have a reason to exist

Post » Tue Mar 29, 2011 10:46 pm

Last night I came across a good sized town that had been decimated, both physically and mentally. The perpetrators were still there and calmly explained their warped rational. I was informed that I was being spared to spread their terror, and when I objected to their methods, they calmly replied that I was welcome to attack them. Then they marched off.

As I surveyed the twisted bodies and crucified captives, I felt frustrated that I hadn’t been able to avenge them. Discovering the tortured souls were beyond any help and putting them out of their misery, my found my jaw was clenched. Finding the glass eyed, slack jawed bodies were booby trapped, I noted a righteous anger was bubbling. I need to avenge these souls. I need to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I have a reason to exist...

In FO3, I had a feeling of isolation, that it was me against a really messed up world. While the story was good and the quests were fun and interesting, I really didn’t care about the Capital Wasteland inhabitants. Oh, I helped when asked, saved their water supply, etc. but it was cerebral. In FONV, I find that I actually care.

Oh yeah I know the one you mean! I remember the guy told me if I didn't like it that I was welcome to attack them and I actually said out loud "Get ready punk!"

I can't really describe the great feeling I was having as those brainwashed religious lunatics dined on hot laser death.

Very memorable moment in New Vegas :D

Honestly the only part that made my gut turn was the civilians that were killed. The NCRCFs are people I couldn't careless about. I got to say though the ummmm heads on the stakes were..........disturbing to say the least.

wish there was the option to give him some stimpacks to fix his legs

but he kept throwing me major attitude, so i just "ended his suffering" for him

Yeah, I also thought it was odd that he needed MedX, as he was already damaged... A doctors bag or that limb repair stuff (can't member its name at the moment) would have made more sense.

In my case it was more like

...they calmly replied that I was welcome to attack them. Then they died.

I had fun yesterday night.

It is a frag mine. Underneat the bodies. There's one or two in the town hall of Nipton. There's two more at a later place they attack. Plus a bomb that's much more hidden. All but that last bomb are disarmable easily after you move the body off it.
