Have tried absolutely everything but interior shadows still

Hi guys, as stated in the title, really blocky shadows in interior cells, don't know what I'm missing. Here is my .ini file if anyone would be kind enough to look it over and tell me what I'm doing wrong!

Try this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9426. Unfortunately, the one I'm using (Shadow striping fix) has disappeared from the Nexus; it's a pity because it worked well.

There is this one too: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8262

Sadly, neither make any difference :( (though the second one has a very nice effect in the atmosphere of interiors, very nice, but sadly, the shadows are still blocky as all hell.

Hello,

Still an iShadowMapResolution=1024 in your ini, try to change it to 4096
You can try to set iBlurDeferredShadowMask=5 to 20, it will blurry a bit more your shadows
I can't see fInteriorShadowDistance value, add it with 2000 max and 1500 mini ( fInteriorShadowDistance=2000 )

I've tested all settings who were possible and it's really the only solution to make shadows a little more decent... until a patch ( if there is one... )

good luck

Don't bother. Skyrim's shadowing code is inferior.

You could make your own esp that changes all lights to be static. In other words shadows that move look twice as bad, so change all shadow casting lights to not pulse or flicker. That or wait for Beth to release their source code or http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=16464. Pick your poison...

This.

Skyrim shadows are just horrible. Skyrim is a mix of (kinda) nowadays graphics and shadows from 10 years ago.
Seems to be done on purpose because otherwise the game would run on terrible fps.
There are many ini tweaks and mods and tips and so on. Bottom line is that Skyrim shadows do svck ... plus cause many bugs/issues since the 1.5 patch :(
