Having a blast onsline lately (PC)

I won't provide a long-winded rhapsody except to say I'm an oldschool gamer; old school as in I've played Oddysey, Colecovision and Atari 2600 systems when they were popular and I remember seeing a Gorf arcade machine in a public area at the local mall when I was about 4 years old here in Toronto.

Given that, one would think I'd be as critical of the games I play as anybody else. Well, that's true in a sense in that I enjoy anything that isn't on an iPhone (are those even games?).

I've played games with no graphics to speak of -- Zork, Tron MUD, Nethack, Angband, etc -- yet several of those games are some of the most complex games you'll ever play. Graphics does not necessarily make a great game and I'm here to tell the young'uns among you that.

Brink, despite some minor weapon balancing issues, is a fine offering of cooperatively-intended gaming. Reduce the range on those SMGs, Bethesda, and increase the range of the ARs. And oh, give the operative a reticle for targetting folks while in disguise.

Other than that, I've been having a very fine time lately online, and I'd like to pass my regards to some of the finer players I (Steam nickname 'Redtail') have had the chance to team with -- RedBandito, Haywire, Kingpin, etc.

That's it.

Redtail (Rokstedi for the win).
