Having many cravings at a single time

Post » Tue Dec 06, 2011 11:28 am

I am having way too many cravings right now. Is it because I'm bored, is it because it is getting late and the midnight delirium has finally set in? Well I don't know, but I am craving about 5 different things right now.

1) Cinnamon toast crunch. (yummy)
2) Blueberry Bagel with Strawberry Cream cheese (wtf mate?)
3) Salami dipped in nacho cheese sauce (don't diss it until you try it)
4) Skittles (I want to caress the rainbow)
5) Coffee cake with Blueberries in it (mama's recipe of course)

I know the solution for it. I have done it many times. If you eat a dill pickle, all the cravings you have will be gone. The only problem is... I DON'T HAVE ANY PICKLES!!!!!!! so I'm screwed...

Point of this thread.. Right now. What are YOU craving? Right at this moment. Not at the next moment, just this one.

My solution to all cravings is to indulge them immediately. In the Middle Ages, they thought that a pregnant woman would die if she didn't get the thing she craved.

I call my unborn infant "Pickle", but I have no intention of snacking on my offspring!

In modren times, it's the man would thinks that he will die if the pregnant woman doesn't get the thing she craves..

I'm craving water like mad. While I was trekking Peru I drank around 6 liters a day, ever since I've been back I can't stop drinking it! Not a bad craving I guess :P

With my daughter, it was peanut butter, the son, bean burritos.
To this day, she likes peanut butter, he likes bean burritos.
To the OP
I'm not craving anything, for breakfast I had a slice of toast with peanut butter.

But if you give into your cravings, that's where the weight starts getting put on. I don't want that to happen. I have a bet going with my dad that I won't get fat like my brother did until I am out of college.

HA!!! You sir are a victim of suggestion!

That isn't a bad craving to have at all unless you drink too much and get water logged.... I did that once, and I was out for a week feeling like I was drowning and at the same time feeling like I was thristy....??

I'd never heard of that pickle thing - will have to give it a go. :)

I suppose I'm craving cheese, but I think that's like my default setting to be honest.

[Edited to try and be helpful]: When I'm craving really unhealthy foods, I go online and look at really delicious healthy recipes (with pictures, obviously). My craving usually switches to having some decent food then.

I didn't hear about it until a year ago, and I thought it was a hoax. But I tried it and it worked. It was life changing.

Cheese? bluh... I can't have cheese plain unless I am super hungry. i think it's because I ate so much cheese at one time when I was little that it has become gross to me. haha

I was introduced to it at a firehall. There were snacks for everybody there and my friend told me to try it. I instantly loved it. it does make your breath smell like a backed up sewage line, but that is what gum is for!

my craving right now... decadent time waste with a particular racing game which i don't even have anymore. an alternative is an old RTS, but that one demands too much thinking or is too easy to beat if i play by the worked out formula(which i usually do). perhaps it is better that these forms of entertainment are not as accessible or as appealing as they use to be as they may lead to wasted mind.
