I am having Skyrim withdrawals :(

Post » Sat Jun 09, 2012 6:20 am

I got Skyrim on 11-11-11 just like everybody else i'm sure..but about a month ago I had to move and I didn't get to bring my Xbox with me..it's still at my old house and now I haven't played Skyrim in so long.

I..I..*breaks down into tears*

I miss it so much! I loved the game so much. I'm a long time TES fan, been playing since 2003 when Morrowind came out! I'd even play Oblivion right now! And boy is that a joke! JUST to get some TES in me! I need my fix, man!!!

Have you guys ever had to go a long time without playing?

And before the t-rolls start saying "ur not missing much" or something, I happen to LOVE Skyrim, I LOVE the direction Todd is taking the series, and Skyrim is probably my favorite TES game to date overall. Morrowind was good, Oblivion was good, but Skyrim? It combines the best of both worlds and I love it. It's a very VERY fun game.

So far I haven't played Skyrim for at least 3 weeks and I think me not playing Skyrim will continue for a while.

Yes, because I insinuated that I never go outside and being deprived of a hobby I enjoy means I'm a nolifer. Good one!

Maybe by the time you can play next, the patch will be available? And you'll enjoy the game even more after a break :)

My game didn't have any bugs to begin with. I play on the xbox and I never experienced ANY quest bugs. Some minor texture bugs, but that's it. So I don't really care about a patch lol..

Better performance, no save bloat, etc; there's a lot of good coming with the patch other than just bugfixes.

I'll take my leave then, seems you'll grumble no matter how positive I force my pessimistic shell to be

Hrmm... Perhaps the phrase " go out side for a while" could be seen as a way of saying "Find something else to do".

You said in the OP that you've been in tears?
If true, that's far from healthy.

So perhaps you should go outside for a while...

There was a period of about 2 weeks when the 1.2 patch borked the game that I didn't play.

I've stopped playing for a month after I had a rage quit
Spoiler
(couldn't kill the draugers + dragon on my way to sovengard)
and after that month I finally finished the main quest. I was hoping for alduin to be harder or something which disappointed me and since then I haven't played in 3 weeks :(

i had to FORCE myself, like quitting smoking *i dont smoke, but i know its very very very hard to quit*
And luckily for me, the weather helped me to quit skyrim for awhile. Since it is so dam hot lately, my laptop would go boom if i play skyrim for 1h+, so i basically avoided gaming until a few days/months later where the temperature is cooler. And i really want to play, but i tell myself, if i play now and my laptop overheats, how can i play again?

I haven't played in a few weeks and likely won't be able to for another 3 or so, til my big project is finished. Its not so bad right now, but I think I'll be pretty tempted to return to Skyrim when the CK comes out.

i wish i can dragon shout call storms and dish out a blizzard for 500 days :(
even a turbo fan doesnt help. Air is 35 degrees-ish, with fan, still 35.

you mean... like skooma????????????

given that there will be a large no. of mods coming soon, if the ckit is released, the PC is the best for skyriming
