Alright guys let me try to explain so this so its easy to understand, im on by brothers laptop because my computer with skyrim on it has no internet connection atm. But i really want this new patch that i heard just came out 1.3 and i was wondering if there a way i can get the patch on this computer transfer it over to the other one so i can install it?

im sick of 1.2 and really need the new patch.

Patching Steam games is done hy getting the new files from the servers, not by running a patch installer, so you'll need to get that computer online. This is why it's useful to always have a 50 foot LAN cable in supply.

This probably won't work and people here can let us know if it won't but what if he downloaded and installed Skyrim on the computer with a connection, it would automatically download version 1.3. Then back the Steam Game folder in steamapps to a DVD and then copy that over to the computer without a connection? Wouldn't that work?
