Wait, you are going to blame Bethesda for that error?
just wow.....
(Slight Edit)
You are correct, we can not blame Bethesda for the WSGF Hayden ultrawide fix not working now.
It seems to me though that when a third party modder can come up with a solution to the menus and such not working properly for wide screen - or more correctly multi monitor - gamers then Beth should be able to incorporate such a fix in the game (/patch) or release thier own version of such a fix.
It has been argued that PC multi monitor gamers make up less than 2% - 3% of the user base for Skyrim in a negative fashion. Thing is, there are people running the game with multi monitors (or trying to).
More like blame Bethesda for creating the conditions that caused a need for a third party memory hack to fix a few badly written flash files that just assume that height of a display is a constant in ratio with the width. All of their games prior to this one did a bang-on job of doing this, Skyrim is the first to not.
I am told that many other games including some from Bethesda natively suppotort multi monitors and if this is true it makes Bethesda look bad in the case of not having multi monitor support for Skyrim.
It is no secret though that Skyrim will almost undoubtedly sell more to console users and this is probably why multi monitor use is at best neglectfully overlooked and at worst deliberately left out.
Come on Bethesda! Surely you guys can at least give us multi monitor users an answer as to why you seem lacking on this issue.
I would like to politely ask any forum moderator reading this post to get in touch with the Skyrim devs and report back as to the likelyhood of Bethesda supporting widescreen / multi monitor gamers in this otherwise wonderful game.
I would also respectfully ask that other forum users do not try to play down this issue - especially those not affected by it.
