I've started a new save but haven't gotten past the into yet because alduin wont land.

I'm assuming you mean he won't land on the tower? Then since your not too far into the game, I'd just restart the character.

I tried that twice wouldnt work then I pressed loads of random buttons on my ps controller and he land XD

i had that when using a savegame i had just before the character creation screen pops up

it bugged out after i got one of the patches

simply creating a whole new character via the ' new game ' button solved it for me

I had that too, i simply restarted my console and it helped.
