To heck with dawnfang and the paladin's blade, we have a new

I couldn't care less about the Nordic laser claymore. I'm much more interested in Miraak's tentacle blade.

http://images.uesp.net/thumb/b/b4/MW_Chrysamere.jpg/180px-MW_Chrysamere.jpg .........you think this is better then the badass bloodskaal blade? It looks like a broadsword and a rapier had an illegitimate baby then put it up for adoption...now the bloodskaal blade just screams of ancient power and I'm not a fan of broadswords or swords with the triangle type blades.

Chrysamere has always been my main weapon in Arena, Daggerfall, and Morrowind. I miss having it ever since I started playing Oblivion...

Also, Chrysamere has an useful enchantment! Healing and protection against evil magics! I say that is quite good! (I can easily see how Chrysamere will work in Skyrim as well).

Yea, but it just doesn't have the pizzazz (spelling) of the BS Blade (lol). It's like comparing a modest Mercury to a new Camero.

Quick question. Picture of it and what are the effects? I am curious about this sword and I want to be a judge on it.
it is the red blade from the trailer (where time slows down, and the pc fights a couple ash spawn) Its pretty sweet looking imo

I don't care. I'm still a loyal fan of Chrysamere.

I'm just going to give this new weapon to Derkeethus since it has infinity charge.

I'll have to try that.

Also does anyone else get a star wars feeling for it? (pew pew pew lasers!)

true I miss my black beauty Umbra from oblivion but thems be the breaks. FYI the enchantment only works with power attacks so unless derkeethus does power attacks he won't be using the blade right.

no not star wars, bleach the anime is the inspiration for the enchantment ;)

We're assuming. Bleach isn't the only thing to have "energy waves" being flung from a sword or a kind of weapon.

Derkeethus always do a power attack when he pulls out his Daedric Claymore then does some more a little afterwards. He seems to always do one when his fatigue is up... But the enemies gotta be in melee range. He prefers his bow quite a lot.

Meh...2-handers always end up getting tossed in my junk chest for sale at a later date, so not impressed with ANY 2-handed sword.

Is there a reason the bloodskaal blade can shoot lasers now? It never used to do that...

Or is it an entirely different one than the one we got in Bloodmoon?

Not sure. I didn't see an explanation.

As popular with the babbies as ever, eh, Colonel? :P

I wish I could put that effect on ANY sword. I dislike unique weapons, but damn, that's just such an awesome enchant!
