Hehe... Stupid Frost Dragons!

Post » Sun May 20, 2012 6:32 am

Those dumb lizards don't realise that my Nord is 90% resistance to frost (50% preset + 40% boots).
Plus dragons are too slow when biting, so i can usually kill a frost dragon without getting hurt (or at least hurt enough to worry). Who else loves fighting dragons who think they'll get you but your resistance crushes their dreams?

even the 50% nord resistance you start with is more than enough. to bad i never encounter any dragons! only 1 in random encounters. all the rest have been at word walls. its getting annoying.

I watched a frost-breathing Blood Dragon get into a fight with a Frost troll. Guess who won...

Clearly you, as I assume after demolishing the puny dragon, the frost troll got waylaid good and proper.

Frost dragons of any type are my orcs only weakness, especially in towns.

I've gimped him by not allowing him to use offensive magic or ranged weaponry. Shouts are his only ranged ability. And considering I haven't done any guilds, his only offensive shout is Frost Breath, which he has two words in.

So I'm confined to chasing after them as Lydia peppers them with arrows and I spam Unrelenting Force or Marked For Death.

advice. unrelenting force does hardly any damage. don't use it unless its biting your face off and you need to stun it. use marked for death ONCE, hide behind some cover while he frosts you and after about 1 minute, his armor will be made of paper. power attack the dragon to death. thats what marked for death is meant for. hope this helps.

frost trolls actually take decent damage even when you use frost spells on them. Not sure what you are implying though :spotted owl:

My companion has 150% frost resistance, and all frost dragons we see are toasted! :)

I laugh in the face of regular, blood and frost dragons. I only need frost resistance for those blasted mages who possess the icicle of instant doom. :brokencomputer:

Good job I just found a set of ebony boots with 50% frost resistance, they have been put away for when I need them. :celebration:
