Helemt visiblity.

Is there a specific way to Hide a custom Helmet now the CK is released? I tried searching and it seems before the CK release using TESVSnip to Hexedit the BODT was possible. I don't see anything obvious at least to me, in the CK atm.

I've seen the Hex code on some items like Mage Hoods.

Atm, I'm having trouble finding a switch in the CK and don't see the Hex line in TESVSnip only 3 lines.

Sorry will try to be clearer and spell Helmet correctly from now on. ;)

I want to hide my helm while wearing it and don't know how to do it in the CK. Before the CK release, TESVSnip was being used to hide helmets, but I'm having a bit of a problem using it.

Basically I'm asking if there is a switch in the CK to hide the helm, if it can't be done in the CK, I was hoping someone would explain how to do it in TESVSnip?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I thought i'd jump in and warn you about tesvsnip

I'm not sure if you already know, but it has been found that the use of tesvsnip can create a fair few problems in the .esp file. It doesn't compress it's records properly, which can cause various problems for users using the snipped plug-in, sometimes game-breaking.

Listen to Hypno. Snip is the kiss of death. I had to re-do about four days of work because of that, and I consider myself lucky it wasn't more.

If I were to do this, I'd say put a script on the helm that makes it apply the NullTextureSet to itself when Equipped.

Just disable all it's slot masks in the CK.

I am having odd problems with crashing, maybe I need to look into checking my files. Is it necessary to complete redo each esp or do they just need to be recompiled in CK?
