Help curing werewolf

Post » Sun Jul 01, 2012 1:09 pm

hello people i would like to ask for help on curing lyconthropy. What has happened is that i became a werewolf in the game a LONG time before the new dlc was announced and now i would like to become a vampire lord. I think you need to cure lyconthropy before you may become a lord. i did the companions questline and i killed all those witch people. the problem is i declined farkas or the other guy when they asked me to help them cure theirs. May some one please tell me how to cure it because it wont let me go to the altar use the heads on myself and i cant seem to get the purification quest anymore. Ill appreciate the help. Thank You!

Spoiler
You should be able to talk to Aela and start her totem quest line, over time I think you will be able to get the missions. If not you may just need to restart a new account.

Spoiler
1.First, youll need to join the Companions. If youre already a werewolf, you should know them by now.
2.Finish their line of quests. When youre done, talk to the leader of the Companions Kodlak, or ask around about a cure for werewolves. Speaking with Aela the Huntress in Whiterun will also tell you more about the Companions affliction.
3.The Companions will offer you a special quest that will cure your lycanthropy this is a permanent change, youll never be able to become a werewolf again. If thats what you want, take the quest and complete it.

Why would you cure lycanthropy? Becoming a werewolf adds the Beast Blood constant effect, which grants a 100% resistance to all diseases

walk in and use one of the witch's heads? No quest required? Assuming you took more than one and kept the extras.
