When i give malbon my stuff to smuggle into the thelmar embassy he doesnt turn up and is miles away on the map! he just stays there. is it because i have given him stuff worth a lot of money? or a bug???? Thanks

He's just trolling. If I'm correct he then goes to Windhelm in one of the bars. Kill him and take your stuff.

I cant it wont let me out of the embassy, and if hes dead ill never able to complete the main quest! lol

yeah thats right i go in the embassy and he isnt there, when i go on map hes south of whiterun, but the embassy dont let you out, so the only way to get out is by going back to an old save!
He is supposed to be inside by a door and only he can open it!

Get the guy to cause the distraction and see if he'll pop up. Besides that re-load.

That sounds like a bug. He's always been inside the embassy when I go there. Just to check, you go talk to Delphine at the stables and see the cutscene of arriving at the embassy? And he's not in there? How do you get the scene with Elenwen at the door? She's supposed to talk to Malborn after greeting you.

She does, elwen speaks to him but he isnt there, she says her line to him but he isnt there! i did this in another game and all went smoothly! bu it isnt working now! very annoying!
