I'm so confused... I wanted a Dunmer Battle Mage (Or pure necromancer/warlock style mage), only to hear from reading forums that they are terrible.

Thus my next decision is to go argonian with a possible battle mage style or rogue/thief style (Which I would love to do if it is anything like oblivion).

Lastly, I'm also loving the idea of an Orc with a two handed battle axe and the decapitations... Would anyone help me with this please? I'm just so absolutely lost... -Thank you for your time, Turns Off Pain.

Battlemage's aren't that bad, Destruction has some major flaws but it has some good parts. A conjuration focussed battlemage is awesome and lots of fun. Dunmer are decent Race though I find you can just choose the race you like best. My battlemage is a Khajiit and they have don't really have anything to benefit the playstyle but work out just fine.

Choosing a race pretty much comes down to aesthetics. Yes, some races have better racial abilities than others, but in the long run it's just fluff (not to mention racial powers are on a day cool-down anyways).

Dunmer being my favorite race, excluding the argronian, and orc... It's looking like I'll be playing three characters. Dunmer being the Destruction style mage, Argronian my thief/rogue, and lastly my Orc as the heavy double handed decapitation machine *evil laugh*

So in my previous statement does that cover all I need to know before create one of those three races and have them perform very well?
