Help regarding some AI and finding a mysterious item

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 12:02 am

Hello everyone,

After a long time of modding Skyrim, I am almost ready to release one of my first mods. I have however a few questions in which I hope you can aid me.
And I do have to admit, one is a rather noobish question.... But I just have to know!

Question 1:
My rangers dont seem afraid of anything, except for dragons. The moment they spot one they turn around and run. I want them to be a usefull ally to the Dovahkiin, how do I get them to behave properly? Setting the rangers bravery up to 'foolhardy' didn't quite solve it.

Question 2:
I'm almost ashamed to ask... But... Where can I possibly find these hanging critters to decorate my farm with? I've been looking all over the CK but I just cant seem to find them. The search option wont work since I have no idea what they are named like.

Thanks a lot for the help!

They're in WorldObjects\Flora, and called things like HangingRabbit01, HangingPheasant02.

Flora? I didn't expect that. Never bothered to examine closely while in game so I had no idea they could be harvested. Thanks a lot! :)

Do the rangers have... well, ranged weapons? If someone is melee only, then as long as a dragon is flying around they will run and take shelter. However once it lands they should join the fight, especially if they're set to 'foolhardy'.

They do have ranged weapons, but they dont 'wear' them by default. They seem to favour having their mace/sword/axe equipped. I'll change that and see what it does! Thanks for the help.
