Hey guys, well i wanted to ask a question about the new fallout new vegas xbox 360 patch. I not-knowing bought a banned 360 so i can't connect to xbox live which maid me also mad that i coulden't get my gamestop pre-order bonus. I was wondering if i can download the 360 patch on my pc and put it on a usb and patch my fnv on my xbox. The reason why i need the patch is because i have the DLC error glitch and by the way didn't even get the dlc on my 360 and i can't save after vault 3 or it the window pops up. Also when i click continue on the main menu the loading screen just freezes. I am really mad about this glitch.

The patch does not fix the dlc save file glitch, unless they have brought out a new one in the past two days which i doubt very much.

oh ok well i didn't know that but when a new patch comes out is it possible to download it off my pc and put it on a usb and download it on my 360?

I think you can just plug your internet cable into the Xbox to download the patch, otherwise i don't see why you could'nt put the patch on a USB stick or burn it to disc.

His XBOX has been banned from Live, though I am not sure if that counts towards a Silver Membership, which is all you need to download patches. It may just be banned from from getting a Gold Membership. Hehe, I wonder if that XBOX was J-Tagged.

Not sure about USB but patches can definatley be burnt to a CD

All the patch does is fix XP and cap exploits. It doesn't address any of the game breaking bugs and many users say it extends load times. You're not missing anything.
