With the leaked information realeased about some of Dawnguards new features


I am wanting to make a Hero, that when the DLC comes out, becomes an evil Vampire Lord.

At first i was thinking i wanted a Nord 2h Barbarian type of character. But then i thought, Vampires use stealth and magic, right?

So i need some help making this new character.

What should his race be?

What should his playstyle be?

Would a warrior still make a good vampire?

The marshbrothers are sneaky yes?

Are you saying i should play as an Argonian?

I really dont want to make another stealth character as my Vampire HUNTER is a stealth based character.

Make any type you want, you can specialize in two handed, as long as you also specialize in stealth, although a dagger is more preferable. Also, illusion magic. Race doesn't matter

Imperial, they are pretty much an all around character so you can adapt it throughout your playthrough.

Well you had better pick fast because dlc is coming out soon and its not going to be for low-level characters.

I'd say a mage if you haven't got one already, but warrior would work too. I'll probably make a vampire lord Necromancer eventually, haven't made a Necromancer Conjurer yet. The new form just strikes me as being something a dark Mage would use, like a Lich form sort of.

I like this idea, im turning my character LORD SONDIL into this!

But i also want a warrior Vampire too...

So im turning Drell into a Warrior Vampire, would be cool if we could to the Gargoyle Vampire form...

I personally picked a Dark Elf. They have a 50% immunity to fire. So that helps with the weakness to fire (I play as a stage 4 vamp so I have a 100% to fire). Vampires thrive as Stealth characters (with bonuses and such). If you wanna be a warrior, don't expect to get much use out of the stealth bonuses.
