Hide but not fur?

Post » Sun Jun 24, 2012 3:01 pm

This just recently caught my attention as I yet again made another new character having..."broken" my last one. I was at the forge, looking around at stuff trying to find the mysteries of the universe and looking into the fires attempting where my emotions felt the happiest, where I stopped being loved and wh- anyway.. And I noticed that there simply wasn't the option to make fur armour. Which, makes no sense to me. I like fur armour better than hide because of the cape..and the Khajiit I am rping as is very much prejudiced against humans and doesn't like to purchase things or wear armour from their corpses. It'd be nice if there was a "small" update to the game that would correct some of our first-world problems.

Funny I never noticed that. But really finding fur is so easy I don't see it as much of an issue.

Khajiit = Cat Wolves are part of the Canine family. Dogs are Canine, cats don't like dogs. Khajiit shouldn't like Wolves. I kill wolves and I make stuff from their fur. Anymore questions?

Just take some fur armor you like off some bandits, and then drop some leather and leather strips into the forge or a river or something.
Your roloeplaying, so why not pretend you made the fur armor?

From what I heard people do that with the console command. Getting armor they want by giving an offering to the gods.

If you like those eyeballs so much you might want to save up for a famine or extinction  What about the teeth? do you use them as tooth picks or tooth brushes?
OP: Since you play as a Khajiit you already have fur, so just run around naked, you don't need any fur armour, hah. Anyways, yea I wish we could make fur armours, then again there is scaled, which has a furr-ish look to it.

It would be nice to make different armors from the different types of bears at least. I always wanted a polar bear armor.

The Storm Cloaks have a bear head helmet you can get.
