High res texture DLC

I have a few questions:

1. It says to have past the recommended requirements. So by how much?

ME:
i5 2.8Ghz
4GB DDR3 RAM
GF GTS 250

2. If I instal it and can't run Skryim, is it possible to uninstal it or delete it or something?

If you can run Skyrim on Medium or higher, it doesn't matter. it doesn't really improve that much. theres a difference, but it's pretty small.

You can google. There are several articles that show a side by side comparison. Each one has a description the includes the phrase "If you look close".

You can see the difference but i wouldn't say its mind blowing, but then again i would assume it only makes a difference with better specs.

If you can't run Skyrim on Medium or higher, it also doesn't matter, because they will break your game.

I think the main reason they were released (besides "because we can") is so that modders could remix them and then downscale to the normal sizes, which gives better quality images than trying to manipulate an image that's already been set to the scale you will be using and may well also have some lossy compression.

I was disappointed to see that cows, goats, and dogs are still ugly as sin with the new textures. I've seen more detailed textures in Morrowind.
