So, this time around instead of being lawful evil I chose chaotic evil for my new Argonian character. This means killing people willy-nilly for almost no reason. So, Sven got mad at me for helping the elf instead of him, so I shot him in the face with an arrow in the tavern as he played Ragnar the Red. Got away with it too, I'm sneaky like that. Anyway, as I was leaving while his body hadn't even cooled, I got attacked by a trio of hired thugs with some fantastic enchanted gear. It turns out Hilde, the sweet old lady who just happens to be Sven's mother, sent them after me for killing that little fairy of a son of hers [as described by the signed note on their bodies]. Naturally I came to her in her sleep and killed her, but I was surprised that she would do that.

Anything like this happen to you?

Yes multiple times, mostly because I stole an item though since I don't normally kill many npc type characters on my games.
