To defeat Alduin, Have Daedric armor, enchant with fortify heavy armor and fully uprade to legendary, Have legendary Deadric Battle axe. Have 20 ultimate healing potions. wear an amulat of Talos and a ring of fortify two handed. Use dragonrend and run behind Alduin, then use power attacks, using potions as needed, keep on doing until Alduin is deafeated and goes to Sovengarde. Restock potions and refill weapons before going to Sovengarde. Use this strategy on Alduin and any other dragons that you are having trouble with.

The best way to make money is to put armor on a mannequin and take it off while still in the menu leave the house and come back and it will be on it again, you now have two, do this with the daedric armor and artifacts, and dragon priest mask sor massive amounts of gold.

anyways Ill add to the thread as to not be useless:

After completing the companions questline check the skyforge again, you will be able to make things there that you cannot make anywhere else.

Also: check out that lighthouse to the northeast of Dawnstar, You can receive a permanant effect restoration increase there.

But if he's invisible, how will we know if we're hitting him?

If you're brave, you can go get the Bound Bow tome immediately after escaping Helgen. By taking the route past Haemar's Shame to Ivarstead, you can then detour to the east to get the Atronach stone for the extra magicka, then up to the southwest of Windhelm to reach Fort Amol.

Best done with Altmer or Breton.
-Altmer starts with +50 magicka, so you will have 200 with the Atronach stone - plenty to cast it.
-Breton starts with 25 Conjuration, so you can reach Mystic Binding right away, have 180 magicka with the Atronach Stone and Novice Hood which is enough to cast it, and choose to become immune to the mages' spells for a minute.

Then go to Winterhold and craft a staff of storm atronach in the atronach forge, making you ridiculously overpowered at low levels ha.

I usually like to do the Bleak Falls Barrow quest right off the back. Afterwards I can have close to 2,000+ gold starting off.

Good way to train Heavy/Light armor. Find a decently strong enemy (like a Frost Bear, or Sabre Cat, maybe even a Troll. Just let them keep hitting you over and over while your Healing yourself with Restoration. You can also do this RIGHT after Helgen and only right after Alduin attacks. Go stand in one of the "Fire" Piles of burning wood and let it just keep burning you while using Restoration to LV it up.

Other then that..

Hint and Tip - Play the game the way you want to play it and discover things for yourself rather than relying on someone else's idea of the "best" way to play the game. Using a guide created by another player based on their opinion of how to play the game is ridiculous. :gun: :read:

Go to Halted Stream Camp as early as you think you can survive it: you'll have mammoth tusks for Ysolda and the Argonian (whose name escapes me at this point) jeweler in Riften, AND get the Spell Tome: Transmute.

The single most comprehensive and the best guide in the world to become OP was posted on this forum. It's called "Complete Character Design Freedom Thread." I learned so much from it. I can't thank the contributors enough, but I can't quite figure out who they are.

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1342463-complete-character-design-freedom-damage-resist-caps-and-ridiculous-damage-thread-10/

Also I only learned recently that Light Armor skill is part of stealth group, not warrior group. After 300 hours of playing. Doh.

Dat Transmute. Mmm Mmm. One of those spells you cannot buy anywhere. Making Jewelry is a more efficient and more pleasant way of leveling up your smithing, especially after the 1.5 upgrade where the value of the item created is important.

Alteration is a great tree to invest some perks in. Oakskin is a nice little buff. That 10% x 3 Magic Resistance is amazing later on. And that master spell Dragonskin gives you as much protection as the best daedric armor. But you can avoid getting hit altogether with Paralysis spell. Does it work on dragons? I haven't tried it on dragons yet. I just assumed it won't work.

Skooma in skyrim is nothing more than an inexpensive potion of minor stamina. No side effects, no addiction. Does your skooma get confisticated is you are arrested? I wonder.

No....

Early in the game, I had some issues with selling skooma. Not only that - I had issues selling ANYTHING if skooma was in my inventory. However, now it's all cool.... or something.

If you're in a town and know from previous characters that this NPC over there should have a quest for you right now, then chances are that you're either too low level yet, or that it's a radiant quest and you have a similar radiant quest already. Clear up these radiant quests as quickly as you can, so that you aren't stumped when you for instance try to become the thane of Falkreath, and Siddgeir just won't give you that quest.

I have a thriving business "crafting" armor in this manner, with locations in Solitude, Markath and RIften. :)
