Hod the Miller Never In The Sawmill Anymore - Anyone, Anyone

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 2:56 pm

i am on my 2nd playthrough and this time I followed Ralof through Helgen Keep which lead me to be friends with this guy Hod and his wife Gerdur, the 2 that own the mill in Riverwood. And now a little while later, when I return to Riverwood and forever after he is never inside the mill anymore, usually he would be in there working or leaning against the rail telling me to grab an axe and bring him all the wood i could carry if i was there for work. I thought in my last playthrough it may have been something i did, or he was just to scared to come outside after that Dragon attack lol. But now anytime I need him to sell firewood to, I have to go all the way to his house, and he is always standing in the same spot just chillin. He then proceeds to tell me to grab an axe lol. Anyone else have this or is it just me? Thanks!

No, not just you. I have this happen too. Visiting the house and having him ask me if I'm lost usually gets him moving out of his house and back to the mill again.

Yea. Isn't there a bug where Gurder kills Hod and her son?

No, there isn't. Too bad huh? Would explain why the Companions keep sending me to punch the snot out of her.

He's a manager: do you seriously expect him to spend any time on the shop floor? But no, after the MQ if you went that way, he stays in or near his house.

If you go into his house and sell him firewood then he comes out and works the mill.
