Just activated my game on steam. First off, my screen resolution of 1366x768 isn't supported. Kinda lame. Secondly, I have yet to join a coop game, my buddy and I both tried to host games and couldn't join each other's games, instead getting a 'timed-out' error.

Lastly, whenever I fire my weapon, I see a black box. When firing automatics, the black boxes become massive. I assume this is smoke or something with a missing texture?

The game is unplayable when I can't fire my weapon without going blind.

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some attempted fixes.

1. Ran directx.exe from the steam>brink>directx folder
2. Turned all grahics settings on, and then off one at a time, and simultaneously.
3. Changed resolution.
4. Updated drivers.


Here are my system stats.
Windows 7 64 Bit
4 Gigs ram.
Nvidia Geforce GTS 360M (1gb video ram)
2.26 Intel i5 processor.

Don't tell me I can't run the game. It seems to run just fine. Its just got.. bugs. Its almost playable, as perforamnce is not an issue, the issue is that when I fire my weapon, my screen fills with black boxes, making combat impossible. ALSO black boxes appear around exploding greandes.

Terrible performance and it doesn't support my resolution... currently unplayable for me as well.

Jesus this is worse than i expected....too human here we come

I figured that since I didn't have an ATI card I would be okay, but these black (sometimes blue) boxes are really annoying.
