Sorry I'm being really noob here...but I've been reading the forums here most of the day...and I'm about to snap now...actually I'm snapping now because I'm creating a topic about it

I can hardly read the threads because of the white smoke and white colouring of the dude in the background...how do I make him go away besides using the IE style setting (no style)??

It sounds like you might need to update your browser. The background of the forums is designed to be barely visible through the various panels. It looks correct for me on the latest versions of Firefox, IE, and Chrome.

I hated that background. I disabled:

in my adblocker. That cleared it.

Yeah, I had to change it as well, but because that static warrior was trying to burn into my TV and ruin it, lol.
