however after completing two of the dlc installments for NV i am disappointed to report that the same issues are now arising as my save games reach the 11 megabyte point. although i have not had the complete freeze issue that plagued fallout 3, NV slows down to the point that the game is indeed unplayable. my hopes of obsidian fixing this debilitating problem are dwindling as it appears that the greater issue of the game becoming over taxed once the saves reach the 10-20 megabyte range still exists, and furthermore as more dlc becomes available the problem will worsen if it is not fixed.
i have remained a fan and customer of the fallout franchise throughout the years because i believe it to be one of the richest universes in gaming history. i have remained patient with bethesda, allowing time for patches and such, even as i have felt personally disrespected by their lack of responsiveness to the issues found in the ps3 version of the fallout games. as i was elated when i discovered that many of the principal creators of the fallout universe would be working on NV, i had high hopes of a great game, and was not disappointed to find that the NV experience felt much more like the fallout games i remember from my past. however as the same debilitating problem that ruined my perception of fallout 3 begins to arise in NV i can only say that i am deeply disappointed in obsidian, and can only hope that i am wrong, and that the problem will indeed be addressed.
