Everytime I tell the guy I'm ready to go. The game brings up a loading screen, then loads a blank screen which also freezes the xbox. Anyone else getting this, or is it just me?

I assume you have the latest title update installed? If not, make sure you're connected online so you can grab it.

I'm pretty sure I do. o.o. I mean there was no update when I started up New vegas today after I downloaded the patch. I tried re-downloading it as well. Also tried un-installing the game from the hard drive to see if that would work. Sadly it didn't.

I'm having the same problem, and I have the latest title update. I've tried deleting and re-downloading the DLC, but the problem persists; Whenever I tell the NPC that I'm prepared to leave, there is a short loading screen featuring the basic roulette, followed by an unresponsive black screen.

I'm about to clear my cache and see if that fixes it. I'll post the results once I'm done.

So, I think it is character based, I just tried my level 30 character, and it worked, Sorta upset I can't take my lower level character into it. :/

EDIT: I just confirmed that it is my character, This is really upsetting because it was my lower leveled survival based character. Would have been fun having. Oh well :/

it's definitely not that i'm trying to get into it with my lvl 31 and its not working...

i have the update... any word on whats going on?

i just loaded a save right before the cave and told my companions to scram then entered didn't talk to anyone besides jed and the vault idiot and it worked.

Ok, I'll try that then. I didn't talk to anyone else on the other character as well, maybe thats whats going on.

It didn't work for me, of course I don't have a save from before I entered. I have the auto save from when I entered though.
I can't understand what would cause this. If it is because I talked to that girl, that is annoying.
Do people in test this stuff before its released?

I'm not going to start a new character, I'm level 28, and it took me forever to get there.
I should be able to just play the damn thing.

To the developers, don't take anything I'm saying personal, I'm just incredibly pissed off right now.

getting the same problem here: tried not talking to and talking to each of the people inside, still freezes after the loading screen. tried 4 times now.

I have personally tested the problem, and its if you talk to the girl npc she will glitch that character. The guy in blue is safe to talk to.
I know its her because on my favorite character that I can't play it with now, I talked to all of them out of curiosity like most people. and it freezes now, no save before I went in sadly.
My level 30 character, I only talked to the guy in the blue and it worked, no freezing. My friend with his lower level character, didn't talk to anyone at all, and it worked fine.

Keep this post up, so they can see this is what is causing it. And hopefully they can fix it soon. Love the DLC, Just wanna play it with my hardcoe character and not my OP one.

EDIT: Also good work on the DLC otherwise, Really fun to play, and it has yet to freeze on me. Must be some kind of new Fallout DLC record lol

I found a fix...or well, it worked for me.

I left the passage and made sure both my autosave and my regular save were somewhere in the Mojave.
I went to my Xbox Dashboard, then went to my memory, deleted Honest Hearts completely, then redownloaded it.
After that, I went in the cave, went straight up to Jed...or Jeb, whatever his name was and the DLC worked for me.

So I'm supposing you're right about the girl causing the glitch.

Oh nice, I'll try that tomorrow when I wake up. I'll post the results, If it works then its confirmed its that stupid girl NPC.

EDIT: I just tried it because I couldn't sleep, and it still registered that I had talked to the people there. So I will have to wait for a patch to use that character I guess. :/

It registered that on mine too...so it still froze up?

i didnt get the blank screen but i did get the infinite load screen and then a freeze. i tried 4 times. i talked to everyone the 5th time but this time i told ricky to leave. then i was able to progress. exhaust all dialog with everyone then get rid of ricky. try that.

None of them work for me. I will just have to wait for a patch to play the dlc with my favorite character.
