I have Fallout New Vegas for the PS3. I downloaded and installed Honest Hearts. It seems that the level cap has been raised, but I get no other indication that the game is installed. No radio message or map marker or quest is activated. I have waited for hours, nothing. I downloaded and installed the game again, but it made no difference.

diddo glad i bought the game at release and all the dlc on release day instead of saving my money for the GOTY edition, im just so pleased to spend my hard earned money on something i cant even play......grrrrrrrrrr oh and Dead Money that i beat all my gold, assassin suit and all my other goodies are gone..oh and my preorder!

Seems like the patch only fixes the game for the customer who dont buy dlc since they are better customers than the ones who do buy every piece of dlc ...go fiqure

It's possible that PlayStation Network issues may have caused an incomplete download. Can you guys check the file size of your downloads? The US version of Honest Hearts should be 474,632 kb. The Canadian version should be 948,235 kb.

hope this help but i called tech support and was told to do these steps

clear cache
delete patch and all dlc including preorder
then reinstall patch
then redownload all dlc and preorder

now im just waiting for the dlc's to download but looks like file size of the download while waiting to install for HH the size is 464mb, i will repost as to the results when im done downloading

although i guess the one toon who was done with dead money that all my gold and such is gone forever : (

Sorry on my phone and well sorry about the post but I was able to check to see only if HH worked not dead money or my preorder and this solution DID fix HH thanks tech support and nick for helping out

you are not alone i got the same problem. This is the only game yhat i lose the maps and everything wend the PS3 wen down and the game is not a online game. wend New vegas come out i was so happy i get 100% trophy buy dead money honest hearts turn on and off the PS3 every time its freez the PS3 but this with the map packs its to bad cant play nothing feel sad and frustrating pay for something you cant play. At least help us tell me what to do to play the maps again please. thank for the time

I delete the fall out new vegas DLC (ca) and all map packs and classic pack start to work again. OOOOOGOD IAM HAPPY NOW

Im in Canada nick and Im getting 927MB for Honest Hearts , and I still cant play it.

Why the hells the Canadian version twice as large?

This is what I did and everything appears to be working now for me.

-Delete Game Data
-Re-install Game Data
-Update to Patch 1.05
-Delete DLC Data
-Re-install Dead Money
-Re-install Honest Hearts
-Re-install Pre-order pack

I checked Downloadable Content on the menu and everything was displayed. When I loaded up my game it immediately identified Honest Heats
and I just went into the BoS bunker and got the notification for entering Dead Money.

After trying over and over again, I still cannot get any of my DLC's to load. I've tried all methods that was posted on here and it still wont work. I'm frustrated because I was looking forward to playing Honest Hearts. Please if theres any information that you guys can give me, I'd be very grateful.

I deleted EVERYTHING, except my 2 save files and re-installed everything and it's still not working. The only thing that's working is that pre-order bonus and that's it. Dead Money and Honest Hearts arent showing up in my "Downloadable Content" (in game) list. Before my first attempt to install and try to play Honest Hearts, Dead Money WAS in the "Downloadable Content"(in game) list but now that's not even showing up either. So Im really stuck here, this is the first problem Ive had with FNV and it's DLC's any other help would be appreciated, thanks.

What would be wonderful is if people would pay attention to what forum they were posting in. That would be really really nice.

I have tried everything suggested!! And I'm getting nowhere! I reinstalled all DLC and the pre-order bonus, and upon loading the game there is NO EVIDENCE of DLC!! I am extremley dissapointed and I know this is a major problem for several people! WE NEED A FIX!!!

It also has the French version on it. Billingual bullocks. I'm Canadian too, but fortunately I've got the US version (hurray Collector's Edition!)

Well, it's been six hours and no complaints about HH or DLCs not working. Good sign?

Just delete the Classic Pack DLC from your Game Data menu and Honest Hearts should then load right away.

Do you have a US or Canadian version of the game?

OK I was on my phone and should have given more info, I called tech support and they told me to do all this and it worked great!

first clear your cache- by going into your web browser on the ps press triangle and the side bar pops up go to tools and delete your cache
next go to the game menu and scroll up to game data utility, delete your fallout dlc or dlc's if you have preorder as well as fallout new vegas (us) which is the update 1.05 data
next with all that cleared out insert fallout and let the game re-install as well as update 1.05 or more recent update if one comes out after this post
next sign back into the ps store and go to the box that says downloads on the top right side and re-download all dlc and preorder

commence twiddling thumbs while you bite tooth and nail to re-download and hope it works......but it DID!!

once all are downloaded dont forget to go to the game menu ad finish by installing them

pop in fallout and give it about a min and the radio and missions will come up and enjoy!

I've been doing some work on figuring out what's causing this and I think that it's the latest patch (1.05). I have proof that it's the patch by deleting the cache and re-installing it with out the patch, and Dead Money was there with the pre-order bonus then after updating to 1.05 they were gone. I recommend that you guys at Obsidian need to come out with another patch fixing this problem so people like me and many others wont be frustrated and mad at you guys and this game. So please come out with a patch that fixes this. Thanks

Doesn't that mean that your game saves will also be erased too?
