Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 8:36 am

Or at least close to the size of it..I'm just hoping this announcement in April is about DLC. Maybe just a little one to keep my interest until the big expansion..what do you guys want?

Bethesda said Skyrim's DLC would be meaty. I think it's safe to say we'll have at least one Shivering Isles-sized expansion.

If I could ask for a DLC, it would be one that focuses on the NPCs of Skyrim. Something that advances how they talk in certain situations, ETC

Morrowind had Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Oblivion had Shivering Isles. Bethesda has a great track record when it comes to TES add-ons. Even KotN was better than most DLC's of other games.

Fallout 3 seems to be the odd one out. Point Lookout was fantastic, The Pitt was pretty good albeit short, but the rest were garbage.

Really? I enjoyed Operation Anchorage. It tried to mix things up with the Fallout gameplay, which was gutsy. That, and it had cool rewards. Chinese stealth armor FTW!

Yeah Shivering Isles was awesome, I really hope Skyrim's DLCs/ expansions are as good as that was.

I should give them credit for trying, and I did enjoy the extra interaction with the Outcasts. Unfortunately, the Gamebryo engine is not built to be a FPS engine, which is what Anchorage basically tried to do. It was like playing a bad shooter from the 90's with better graphics.

Well the first dlc will not be the size of shivering isles because it hasnt been near long enough for them to make something of that size..

It would be great if there was an expansion were we go to Hircine's deadric realm.

If anything, an expansion on vampirism and lycanthropy would definitely be welcome. Heck, that could be incorperated into Hircine's realm...

Really, so long as a sizable expansion is done, I could not care less where it takes place (as long as it is lore correct, no mamby pamby land).

It takes Bethesda over a year to make an expansion DLC, so we shouldn't expect one until around early 2013, and I think for now this year we'll get minimum DLC.

your working under the impression that they haven't already built it, im not saying they have, but if you take COD for example...purely example, the dlc's for it are already built in, all the maps are there ready to go there just locked down until there bought and unlocked, i generally work under the assumption that Bethesda has learned from the success and demand of brilliant DLC's from Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and F:NV and started the DLC's long before, prolly some time around release...but you know what they say about assumptions just my 2cents

Hell yes! An expansion like Shivering Isles would be awesome (size, content, creativity, atmosphere...)

I personally still want Molag Bals Realm Coldharbour. It just seems fitting for a dark and violent (for TES conditions) game like Skyrim. It could be a completely redesigned version of Skyrims world, more violent and twisted and the throat of the world could be replaced by a giant castle where Molag Bal residents.
