Had this for months now and can find No way around it, I places the horn at the right alter (in the cave outside whiterun) got the message to return to Elsif, but the dialog option never turned up...meaning I cant buy Proudspire Manor Anyone els had this problem or got sugestions?? Thanks

Do you mean placing Torygg's War Horn at the shrine of Talos? I think you've mixed quests up.

You should be able to just place the war horn at the shrine (by activating the shrine), then return to elisif. I think you may have to complete the second potema quest (to destroy her) to purchase the manor.

I did that quest just yesterday(!) for the third time and I've never encountered that problem. I always place the horn and then take it and place it in my house, but i doubt that solves the problem... Do you have a save a little back before the quest, because doing it again might solve it? (you have porbably allready tried that if you have a save like that, though) Have you tried doing it after the 1.6 patch? (are you on xbox or playstation? You should be able to fix it with a mod or a CC with the pc, ofc.)
