I've had consistent issues with trying to map the controls of this game to the xbox 360 controller. It seems that the menu key and cancel command are incexplicably bound to the same button.. Is there anyway I can have say "Y" open the menu, yet "B" close it? This is very frustrating

That's the way the Xbox 360 game, as well as the previous games, are set. I have no knowledge of the PC version, but I assume no.
