» Fri Feb 18, 2011 5:49 am I bought FallOut New Vegas last week and I'm getting terrible frame rate performance. Whenever I walk outside or have a conversation with NPCs I get horrible lag and freezes. The game first set my graphics to Ultra High but it was absolutly unplayable. So I tried taking the graphics down a bit and manually set them to what I would call Medium-Low. Even so I'm getting terrible frame rate performance in the outside world and when facing more than 2 or 3 ennemies. My game now looks like the Old Duke Nukem 3D game and the lag is persistent. I'm highly disapointed with the fact that I can barely run the game in Medium-Low graphics when I highly surpass the system RECOMMENDATIONS. I hope there will be a patch up ASAP as I'm thinking more and more of a refund... no seriously I want to play the game I paid 60 $ for and I want it to run smoothly on my highly decent PC.
One last thing, I overlooked the forum for infos on how to fix the horrible lag and I saw something about a .DLL fix. I would like to know more about it.
