Haha, you guys make it sound like I lost a real person . I would be upset if the circumstances were less epic, but I think it's time to celebrate with mead! Thanks Thane of Halcourt, I'm sorry for you unspectacular wedding :P, never know what the future might hold though.

 I meant your character's dead wife. :P

Now I feel like my character's wedding was an utter failure. It's not a Skyrim wedding unless someone dies.

My first marriage went a bit like that. Decided to marry Camilla in Riverwood, I went back to Riverwood after the ceremony to tell her to move into my house in Whiterun. Just got there and a Dragon attacks Riverwood, my new wife decided to go attack it with an Iron dagger. Needless to say I'm now a widow...

I punched Lydia out at my Orc's wedding.

Does that count?

Thinking about it, I probably should have killed Chief Larak. [censored] in-laws.

Thank you Helio86. I plan on re-wording the tale later tonight, y'see I rushed this story so I could play more Skyrim. If anything else interesting happens to me I'll be sure to write it down. Okay Grits , I only knew her for about three days but she was the love of my characters life, thank you for helping me through this difficult time. Did anybody end up dead Adebar? Did a Dragon swoop down and kill the guests? If not, your wedding is invalid.

I bet Faendel and Sven were pee'd hay S-P?

Well, I swooped down on all the party guests I didn't like. My character uses dragon scales to wipe his ass.... So, worse that a dragon.

Oddly enough, there were a LOT of guests. Probably around eight. All of Borgakh's family, Farkas and Aela, Lydia, and Erik the Slayer (I think).

So, only Lydia took a few punches. And that was mainly because she would probably kill me or my wife, seeing as I had her following me for 20 levels.

A really sad story. Cheer up.

Though in my game Sam was located in Dawnstar Inn. Different.

Awesome Skyrim.

Be glad, my spouse only lasted as long as it took for her to make me enough gold to pay off the bounty for her own murder.

That was an epic story dude. Really enjoyed the writing style.

I think the moral of the story should be, Skyrim is much more fun when you Rp

Man, My beautiful female Altmer mage went all the way to her Markarth house to change into fine clothes and gold circlet, only to fast travel to Riften and catch everyone coming out of the temple - she must have been two minutes late!!

I wouldn't mind, but it was gro-Bags the Orc miner from Kolskegger mine who went hostile lol. I made it up to Maramol a few days later then went back to make it up with gro-Bags. At the mine entrace was Pavo, "Is that...an Amulet of Mara?" OK I thought, you'll do. So we tie the knot and weeks later I bump into gro-Bags, "Why should I even talk to you after what you did to me?"

I did not come to the forum today expecting to read such an entertaining and tragic story. Thank you for sharing this example of why Skyrim can be so awesome with us! :hugs:

I read one on here that when someone was sleeping the night before their wedding, it was his first time sleeping since stealing the Aretino contract from the dark brotherhood and...yeah.

BRILLIANT

I told tales of my characters experience with Sam to the guys in my office. It was that which convinced 4 of them to buy skyrim.

Tho mine wasn't just before my wedding.

Did you ever finish the buisness with Sam?
