Horses need more stamina

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 10:27 pm

"The horses in Skyrim are hardy and strong, and make up in endurance what they lack in speed."

This is a quote from Todd Howard answering the concerns of Horse Speed in Skyrim, IMHO I would really have to disagree with Todd here.

Skyrim Horses DO NOT make up for the lack of speed with stamina!

Horses can gallop for up to 30-40+ minutes... and yet Skyrim horses can only gallop for less than 25 seconds, I'm not trying to say that Skyrim horses should be able to gallop for 30-40+ minutes, but they should be able to gallop for 1-2+ minutes at least.

I know what you mean, for me it feels like it lasts for 5 seconds when I'm riding away from an enemy. And the fact that every horse in the game is only different in appearance and not in stats gets me angry >=/

Skyrim horses are like some real life men, they don't last very long, and don't like to bring up the subject :bunny:

Simple, don't use horses. Turn into a werewolf. Sprints faster and for longer.

Really though, I do agree they need to sprint longer. I'd also like to be able to use magic from a horse.

This would make me laugh, but it describes me perfectly.

I'm gonna go cry in a corner now.
