Hours of Gameplay

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 5:48 am

When i was doing the sign up for the beta for Dawnguard and the question asked how many hours of gameplay i had in skyrim i realized that i have over 150. Ive put in more time on other games but it just seems to me like that thats a crazy amount of time. I know its probly not a ton compared to the real fanatics but i thought it was pretty impressive. Whats the highest amount of hours anyone has heard of someone putting in on skyrim?

I've easily dumped over 600 hours into Skyrim across multiple files. It gets really hard to add up if you partake in "Dead is Dead", with all the restarting and everything.

Honestly I'm not sure. When they asked me on the beta thing I just guessed a number and I don't even remember what i wrote.

Steam say 412 hours. Considering how it's only been out a few months, I can't help but wonder how much I've put into Oblivion and Morrowind.

I'm at 937.

Honestly I haven't played much at all since december so um, yeah....

Want to get back into it again right now, but I mean, looking at that number I'm sure you can see why I'd be having trouble getting back into it...

Just been browsing here and r/skyrim for a while past couple days trying to get ideas... If you got any I wouldn't mind hearing them.

There are folks over in the Oblivion forum who have logged 1500+ hours on a single character. Now that is impressive. We'll be seeing that in Skyrim too in a few years times, I'm sure.

::Edit:: - My Skyrim total is pretty modest: about 300 hours, across four characters.

I have a friend who played around 1500 hours on two or three characters within the first few months after the initial release date.

If I include all that time spent working in the Creation Kit (which is also very fun), I've probably logged close to 1000 hours, around 500 hours in each.

About 300 total for me. With that score Skyrim takes the second place in my top-three, over Pokemon ruby (200) and under Oblivion (400).

I don't even get that much time to play (maybe 1-2 hours 5 days a week) and I think I've already racked up 200 hours since Christmas (all my other games have just been collecting dust).

Across all my characters at least 500 but I'm constantly changing characters and trying new things so the longest I have on one is only 50 hours. Probably the most hours I've spent in a game besides Oblivion :)

If you do everything with one character, it's not hard to spend over 500 hours with them.

With my lv 60 character, I had 200-300 hours in before I took a break, and then started over once returning to Skyrim.

I'll typically spend 75-100 hours on a Dragon Age playthrough, but with Skyrim and the other Elder Scrolls games, there's just so much to do apart from the main quest, with crafting, dungeon raiding, and general exploring. It's pretty easy for me to have over 200 hours with a single character without realizing it.

I'm still playing at least 4-5 days per week, and have put in over 800 hrs across 8 characters.

There are 744 hours in 31 days. So putting in upwards of 600 hours into a game in a month or even 2 is impossible unless you're afk a lot and/or spending every waking minute playing it. If thats the case get a job lol.

I feel like a loser now with every one who posted saying they have over double mine lol i try to spread out my time though. I put in a couple hundred hours in 4 or 5 other games since Skyrim came out. But as soon as the DLC comes out im guessing im gonna put another hundred or so hours into this game again.
