5-6 hours straight of New Vegas

Oh dear god. That game is AMAZING. I've taken a fond love of my modified 9mm and modified Varmint Rifle xD

So far, I've encountered no real glitches beyond Grimy Pre-War suit and Dirty Pre-War suits using the same skin (Both are white pinstriped) and a little lag once in a blue moon.

All in all, I am very impressed. And that one song about the Ranger is catchy as hell. Bravo on such a top notch game Obsidian :D

I was waiting for one of the regulars to post something.
I didn't expect it to be so soon after release, as I figured they would barely leave their screen long enough to go to the bathroom.

Anyways, that's encouraging to hear.

Agreed I'm absolutely in love with this game. :) I only have a few hours in so far, and I'm not going to rush it - I want it to last for months.

The Havok is definitely improved for bouncing objects around, and terminal hacking is a bit improved too.

Love it!!

Oh dude, I barely left my PS3, I'm tired as hell, but 4 litres of Dr. Pepper are in my system. Huzzah for quantity energy over quality XDD

@hircine- When you get it, you'll love it. And when you get to the area you were shot, at night, the vew of New Vegas is gorgeous, it's a must see sight :)

@Inco- Nope. PS3

@Miaximus- I agree, the new animations of running are funny to me, but so far enjoyable.

Thanks for taking the time to post something encouraging. IGN just posted a beautifully written editor's choice review as well. I'm stuck at work but hoping to see a UPS package at my doorstep when I arrive home 9 hours and 26 minutes from now.

Well, I'm not quite sure. So far Im up to two on my 9mm (Scope and extended clip) and on the Varmint Rifle I have a silencer and extended clip. Both have been VERY reliable. The VR is a little weak, but the 9mm is very durable and reliable. It's saved me from hordes of monsters downing on me xD.

That is excellent as one of the reviews I read said that there could only be one at a time. I don't meant keep you away from the game but I've gotta couple other questions.

Can you remove your weapon mods or are they permanent?

How difficult has the game been?

Nah, don't worry, I'm letting my PS3 cool down for a few hours

And ehh, as far as I've seen, The mods are permanent, but I'm playing without a guide book, so I'm essentialyl flying by the seat of my pants.

And in regards to difficulty, I'm lazy about combat, but since Obsidian removed scaling, combat on Very Easy is pretty challenging, I tried to take down the Vipers, and I died 2 times trying to knock em off T_T

Pounds on vault door, "Open up, Matyr, you son of a *****, share with everyone else!!!"

Can you give an estimate to how many mods we have for each gun or is just around 3 for each?

I wish I knew the local time for my GS to open.

I BELIEVE Mr. Sawyer said 3, but so far I've only found two mods for my 9mm and two for my varmint rifle, but I've seen different mods for different weapons (they range anywhere from 100-500 caps so far Ive seen)

@Stick Man- You should edit your post, they dont allow you to use 'gay' as a negative term on these forums.

I've only played for an hour and a half, but so far it's really fun. Better than Fallout 3, IMO.

Yeah, I've seen plenty and have, or nearly have, bitten the dust. A bit southwest from Primm there's a radioactive pool surrounded by Feral Ghoul Reavers. First time I saw it I was like "oh [censored] - it's a Reaver!". Though they have been seriously toned down since F3. I even managed to kill one at Lvl 2 - but just one. Ran out of shotgun ammo for the rest. And right nearby is a spawnpoint for Giant Radscorpions. It's not even worth fighting them without piercing rounds. That whole area's a pain in the ass. Had to reload so many times that it made ripples in the immersive aspect. It is challenging.. in many spots.
