In 60 hours... [Spoilers]

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 9:55 pm

In 60 hours of playtime, I've managed to finish the main storyline (except the "civil war" quests, since
Spoiler
I did the peace treaty until I defeated Alduin
), I've become Listener of the Dark Brotherhood and completely outfitted the Dawnstar sanctuary, Archmage of the College of Winterhold, Guild Master of the Thieves' Guild, bought and fully decorated Proudspire Manor, and saved up enough money to STILL buy every house in the game (including Proudspire again) and fully decorate them.

Also I did this all on Adept.

Any idea what I should do now?

I still have to complete the companions' storyline, bards college quests, and the civil war storyline.

After that, wat do?

Ew, screw quests, Do what you do not what they tell you to :D
I've found Role playing a lot more fun than doing quests

You should have a go at completing all of the daedric quests. You'll get great stuff from doing them.

Lol, my Khajiit is 70 hours in and I've only done the TG, DB, and Companions. I'm only about a third into the MQ and I haven't visited the College yet. I haven't done any Daedric Quests, collected any Dragon Priest Masks (other than Krosis), become the Thane of any city but Whiterun and I've skipped out on a great deal of side quests and I've only discovered about 100 locations so far. So I have a long way to go. I get the feeling it is going to extend past my average 150 hour playthrough.

According to Steam I've played roughly 254 hours. And I haven't gotten to level 50 or maxed out any skills. But that's partly because my character save files either get corrupted, accidently overwrote, or ruined by a suspicious mod, that has happened to 4 of my characters but I'm still having fun with every new character I create and I hope that one day I'll actually be able to keep a character.

My first Khajiit is around 90 hours with no bards, college of winter hold and without many many side quests. Since him I've made around 8 characters, but only played 3 ( altmer pure Mage, nord pure warrior, dunmer assassin. )

I'm just about to start over but it looks to me that your rushing the game, why not take sum time to just enjoy it?
Playing on adept and it's not enough for you? why not switch it up a notch?

Go a-wandering. Take in the scenery. Or set an arbitrary goal. One of my characters is studying the government and history of Skyrim, going to each hold, visiting the Jarl's, reading Skyrim histories, admiring famous landmarks. Set him to ridding the land of bandits, thieves and assassins. Or set him to upsetting as much of the government as possible, killing officials, stealing stuff from Jarls. Collect something. Try to make friends with giants. Think about it--you'll probably come up with something fun.

There are temple quests you can do also. Visit the temples in each city. Some give you quests. And definitely the Deadric quests.

You must be missing out on a lot of things if you've done all that in just 60 hours. I've played over 600 hours and I'm just now out of quests to do. At least I can't seem to find anymore anyway.

There are a lot of "side" main quests too that you probably haven't done. You get these from random NPC's. Talk to everyone in every town. You'll get more. Visit every Inn as well.

Did you do the "Night to remember" quests? If not, visit the inn in Whiterun and do the drinking contest with one of the guys in there.

Trust me. There is more stuff to do.
