I will say this as gently as possible, because a lot of us have learned this lesson the hard way with Oblivion and/or Morrowind and/or FO, myself included, and know how frustrating it can be.
The lesson is not that the CK or Skyrim is broken, or that you wasted your money, but that you failed to assess what resources you would need versus what you actually had to work with before you started building. The stock resources are not going to include every little thing you could wish for. And yet, the devs managed to build a beautiful game with what was there, so clearly you can create things with the CK too. Sure, it's got its bugs, but right now you're slandering it all to heck and back in a tantrum for your own failure to plan and research, and that's really not fair (or pleasant).
So you spent a week working on something - obviously you were enjoying it a little, then, or at least enjoying what you thought would be the end result. Take a few steps back and re-group. Take Qutayba7's advice and find pieces that are "close enough" and do a little re-arranging; or spend a few days learning how to move walls around in a free 3D modeling application, or submit a request for a resource-maker to do so for you. We actually have some floating about that enjoy this kind of work, if you don't mind waiting for it. But most of all, assess what you have to work with before you start building again. What is already there can not only be "enough" for what you want to do, but can also inspire you with new ideas.
