Mr. House, Independent or NCR/Legion?

Post » Wed May 11, 2011 10:11 pm

Which option did/will you choose?

At the moment, I am debating between siding with Mr. House or going Independent Vegas - but I wonder if going IV will still make me favorable in the eyes of the NCR, as I would still like to buy from their merchants and do their quests etc.?

I'm inclined to go IV because that route seems to hold more freedom of choice in general and I much prefer Yes Man's vision (or mine, rather) of Vegas rather than House's egotistical one.

Any general thoughts?

Kiva will side with the NCR.
Kain will side with Mr.House.
Natalie will side with the Caesar's Legion.
And my as of yet unnamed unarmed character will go independent.

Right now I'm going with Mr. House, who seems to have an answer to everything...

Tried House and Yes-Man...going for NCR next...not much of a difference between House and Yes-Man, though...

So you can't side with Yes Man AND the New California Republic? Will the NCR at least still favor you enough (if you go Independent) to give quests/merchants etc.?

So long as you don't go Legion you can still be Idolized by the NCR, granting you quests/merchants/whatever - you just can't do the NCR's endgame quests.

Caesar, if you like a challenge and want to crush the weakness of the Republic.

Well, all the paths do have some drawbacks, and the ending is not always how you think it will turn out, with any faction.
