According to The Vault, he was the founder of RobCo. He is NOT a computer, and you do see him in person. he is, however, ghoulish looking, because he is so old, and is inside a cryogenic chamber. He hires you to get rid of the NCR activity in the New Vegas area, because it lowers his own influence in the Strip.
At the bottom of the link i posted are pictures of him in his cryogenic chamber, and you can get a pretty good look at him.

I'd be careful if I were you pal. While I enjoyed seeing Mr. House. Pre-released games and etc might get this thread locked. But lets wait and see. xD

it makes me pretty happy to know that he isn't a computer. i was somewhat expecting him to be, but he's not :fallout:

Well, it's reassuring to know he isn't a computer, but now I'm kinda spoiled.

My own fault, of course. Not that it matters, really; he'll be crushed under the might of Ceasar's fist.

I recommend putting a spoiler tag over the information, or editing the title.

I just watched part of the video of Mr. House being 'killed' -- I feel genuinely sad. Poor guy; I kinda pity him. Still, compassion is the enemy -- the Legion must move forward and conquer the land, and defeat these feelings of morality on the way.

Doc Mitchell is NOT the owner, which is confirmed by MItchell and all other NPCs in Goodsprings
