Mr. House is unaware.

In "The House Always Wins, IV" you have to stop the Omerta's plans, which I have done. The associated objective is complete in my PipBoy and when I return to Mr. House to inform him that the "Omertas have been neutralized" (as this is the route I wanted to take with the game), he simply says "As I said before, I need you to investigate the Omertas, to see what they're up to." So, I have competed the objective, but for some reason, the game hasn't properly registered this with the Mr. House character and storyline.

Here is a possible reason; I destroyed the guns with the termite, and also killed the consultant whose name now escapees me. I think the mission only required one objective to be done. Though I don't really know whether this would cause the problem I am experiencing, I still find it frustrating.

I have been playing the game on hardcoe for 45 hours. I have experienced dozens of crashes, freezes, loss of sound and other issues. I have dealt with those problems up to now as they came, but this is the primary storyline and the way I was choosing to experience the game. I love the Fallout series, I love the Mojave world and the New Vegas storyline. Please fix this issue. Against my will, I will finish the game with a different faction but hope to return to an earlier save and finish the game properly.

Please tell the community something that will fix all the crashes and issues.

Cheers,
GJBM

i also have run into this problem, i would like to hear from an admin if there is anything being done to fix this... I have ignored all other crashes and glitches... but this quest is part of the main story line, and should be addressed imediatley. I work for an undisclosed video game retail chain in canada, and I would hate to turn away sales because of these types of game crippling problems.

I also experienced this bug both on the PC and on the PS3. I had to go back in and shoot up the place so that I could fail the quest to move on to part V both times.
