Houses these days...

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 10:11 am

I made a house and it sumtimes disappears when i fast travel to it and elements surrounding the house disappear too, if i switch it to esm, evrything works well BUT the original elements that were in the area are set back to where they were... That's not what i want.

Is there a way around that?

For now you can check the 'Full LOD' box in the reference window for the dissapearing objects, but that's no perminant solution. This is a known issue and Bethesda has acknowledged it and is working on a fix.

I don't know if anyone else has found this, but I've noticed that if I save the plugin with "Full LOD", quit the CK and reload, and then remove "Full LOD" the problem does not re-occur.

Still not ideal, but it might work around the problem of creeping lag.

Alot of random things cause things not to disappear .... for a while... you think you've fixed it... and it happens on the fifth time you double check lol. Yeah, some things mess with whatever code the problem is in, but nothing really fixes it so far as long as your mod is in .esp form. I'm not even certain a simple .esm convert will fix, haven't tried it myself. You just can't do that till you're ready to wrap up your mod for distribution >.< and even then only on places like nexus.

My esm only adds two objects, a mine entrance and the door, to the area near riften. I've never noticed them dissapearing. I think esm fixes it, though I'm not sure. :/
