How about a bow or crossbow with poisoned arrows or other gr

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 11:49 pm

Hard-------for my experience as an operative/light , easily get killed face to face, their abilities are not very useful comparing to other classes, and not much mission for operative. Maybe a new weapon will make things a little bit different. Engineer/Medic can buff teammates, so a bow or crossbow with poisoned arrows will do a debuffer to decrease maximum health of the target, or do some damage in 10 seconds, or clear all buffer of the target, or even slow down the target. We can choose different type of ammo/arrows in weapon customization screen at a command post. Bows and crossbows are both silent so that's perfect for operatives.

Please post your ideas, maybe we can make this game greater and please forgive my poor English.

I love this game anyway.

There was no "none" option, because those are all incredibly unfitting ideas for Brink.

I don't really like any of them? I'd like to see more guns for sure, maybe a sawn-off douoble-barrel shotgun in the submachine gun section.

No. Maybe more guns, but they're not needed.

Brink doesn't need CoD gimmicks. Or TDM or Capture the Flag. Or Kill to Death Ratio. It's been designed to be as different as it possibly can and any of those weapons would make it a glaring comparison to another game.

I don't see any of these ideas working for Brink, I voted "other" though, because I can see them releasing DLC weapons - reskins or remodels of weapons with the same stats as the existing ones, like the DLC packs include - partly so people can have 2 versions of their favourite gun if it's not one that gets a pre-order version, and partly because some people will want to go dual (insert Medium or smaller weapon name here).

I also think giving us the option of sidearms as primaries would be nice to include in DLC.

someones a CoD and ACB fan but he does bring up a point: a weopan that takes off a buff. I thought that would be the chemical weopan only medics could use (was stated but not in game maybe DLC?) could take off a buff and do slow health damaging. Be cool to see a Ratchet and Clank type of gun chemical weopan. You shoot a glob that explodes and depending on how close you are its effects how much of a buff is taken off and how much damage taken.

I would love to see the addition of a new class: Assassin. their entire job is to one-shot an enemy and then try to escape to do it all over again. they could use a sword and be equipped with a stealth cloaking device at rank 3 or 4

NO. That is like the opposite of the point of all the other classes in Brink, which try to support eachother. The sword idea doesn't fit, the cloaking doesn't fit, and the one shot killing is something that Brink was made to not have for a reason.

You guys are horrible! The first time someone tries an idea you automatically scream heretic and call him a CoD fan. That makes you look WORSE! Just because another game has it doesnt mean that game owns it. He never mentioned CoD and you guys berate him for the idea. I would like an oddball weapon and think it could be modified to work.

we already have 1-shot killing via the buffed barnett.

other classes support. my assassin idea just supports using a different approach. aka, support via killing the enemy medics/engi's

I think the game should have at least a map related to fallout.

Lol, this is not Monday Night Combat.

And no OP, sorry, but I don't think it's necessary. I do think operatives could use a lil something something though.

I think light machine guns would be cool guns to add to the game.

This. And if you don't think the Op's abilities are that great, which they are, don't play as an Op.

Why isn't there a "No" option? I don't want this to be ANYTHING like CoD.

This. A small, two-shell shotgun for lights would be good though.

A choice in melee weapons would be cool, (bat, knives, pipes, etc) but not really needed. I would like the operatives spike genades to be stronger. A flame thrower might be nice too. The parkour for light bodies should be very athletic....sought of like Lara Croft flipping and shooting at the same time. How fun would a taser rifle be in this game? haha. Smoke bombs and thermal goggles might add elemental tactics....along with incendiary nades.
