How are you feeling now?

How's Brink doing for you folks these days?

I'm one of those people who bought followed and purchased Brink and was totally disappointed and disgusted with the game after 3-5 days. I'm on of those people who took to the forum as my sole place to voice that displeasure (I figured since there is no lemon law against video games I'd make myself feel better by venting). I'm one of those people who was eventually warned because I could not maintain my composure during that frustration.

I put the game down indefinitely (for some reason the local Game Stop won't buy the game back for anything reasonable) waiting to see if this free DLC that Splash Damage proposed would rectify everything that is SO wrong with this sloppy mess of a game (on Xbox 360... as I remember on PC it was supposedly GOTY *smirks*)

So. Now that all the unreasonable, whiny, ungrateful, impatient, jerks like myself have stopped trying to play (betcha didn't see that coming) how are you feeling about Brink now? I am sorry about the cynical tone but I can't help myself. I'm still bitter. Have things improved for the small tiny minuscule (cannon fodder for bots) few left? Rhetorical.

From what I understand when a Xbox 360 DLC/patch is sent in for certification it takes 2 weeks for it to be approved and released unless Xbox Live has some other system patch being addressed. So either Brink DLC FAILED certification and got sent back with a lil red ribbon, or...

Happy Gaming. I told you so. =)

Brink's doing ok for me thanks. The lag has noticeably improved and its been enjoyable lately. The dlc has always been fairly meaningless. Anyone who thinks two maps and a few extra toys are going to transform it, will probably end up being even more bitter and whiney as these do nothing to address the game's inherent flaws.
