How is best way to experience this game?

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 10:03 pm

Well, I personally switch b/w walking to destinations and fast traveling. So I want to know, which gives the best experience, walking to every single location, fast traveling for everything, or a little bit of both?

If youre in no hurry, and you have the patience to fight a pack of wolves round every bend, walking is always the best option IMO.

It really depends on you, I have no idea how you like your games. I enjoy walking. Does walking everywhere irritate you in real life? It'd probably irritate you more in game when you're just trying to have fun.

I do a mixture of both. Sometimes I fast travel, sometimes I walk, sometimes I fast travel half-way then walk the other half. It just depends on my mood. I find it's pretty fun this way though, and you get to see a good bit of the sights without missing out on the world itself. I've also discovered many things while I walked, so it's definitely worth it. Try mixing it up and you'll have a good time.

Nobody can really tell you how to play.
I like to explore the landscape and take in the world.
That is what gives me the best experience.

I run everywhere, never fast travel. Beth puts most of the content for their games out in the world for you to discover. Fast travel will miss most of the content.

Not to mention they make wonderful environments... even though their character aesthetics are exactly the opposite (i.e., beyond horrible).

Baked off your ass. Seriously, I don't think I've had so much fun playing a game freshly stoned since Destroy All Humans!

Fast travel across paths you've taken before, but go pedestrian across the ones you haven't. It's boring running the same routes over and over when hauling loot to whiterun or whatever, but worth doing some manual travel through territory you haven't explored.

I agree with this. Skyrim while stoned must be amazing. Unfortunately I can't experience it like that right now. But I can imagine. RPGs + weed have always been a favorite combination of mine. Takes the game to a whole different level.

I prefer walking, you never know what you're going to see, just today I was walking from riften to windhelm and cam across a giant vs bandit camp vs frostbite spider royal rumble...it was awesome!
