How can I organize my save files on 360?

I've got three primary characters who are high level and I'd like to make yet another. I make three saves in the same place on each character to make sure I don't accidentally overwrite one. While this works, it's really inconvenient. I was hoping someone might know of a way to keep them apart without switching profiles so that I don't have 12+ saves to look through and keep track of? I have a USB drive that is compatible with my Xbox, so if there's a way I can have a separate set of save files on there under the same profile, that would be great :)

Also is there any known way to clear the actual number of saves or reset them? For example, let's say you've saved 2000 times so your next save would say 2001, is it possible to clear that and make your next save just be 1 again?

I just save often, real often. And when I'm fully done playing the game when I save it I basically take a picture of that said char. Use my camera to get my dude in a backdrop of some sort and make diff. ones.

That way I know which specifically by looking. I at most keep 2 saves per character.

Take your two chars that you have finished with and put them in the new cloud service if you're on xbox live. That frees up the hdd for your third.

I have made 10 chars so far. Nine are in the cloud and one that I'm playing off the hdd. Two of my cloud savea are game complete at levels 48 and 52 and one is at level 20 waiting for me to finish this playthru. Six are at level 1 and are in Riverwood and have just come thru character creation.

What to do is go to:

SYSTEM SETTINGS > STORAGE > HARD DRIVE > GAMES > SKYRIM

You then get the list of saves that you have in Skyrim. Select the one you want to store in the cloud and you get the option to MOVE, COPY of DELETE the save. I choose to move mine to the cloud, so I only play off one character on the hard drive and don't get confused. So the next step is:

MOVE > CLOUD SAVES.

Then you can delete all the surplus saves of that character and start a new one.

I discovered that only with an external USB inserted does Skyrim give you the option to switch storage devices. I would imagine same goes for if you've got Skyrim data on the cloud, but now I'm using a USB and primarily use the wait command to trigger an auto-save so that I don't stack up so many saves.

Across my characters I've done nearly every quest, gotten every achievement, beaten on master difficulty etc and I'm over 3000 saves because I save all the freakin time. Especially on stealth characters when I'm about to pickpocket or lock pick where a bounty would be incurred. This way should work as if I had the godsend of a 'Quicksave' option. :celebration:

I simply make two identical saves for a character I want to keep so I have a backup if I happen to overwrite it.
