Other than by equipping it? When I find a weapon or am negotiating to buy ti from a vendor, is there a way to tell if it's 1 or 2-handed? I don't see anything in the information about it. The only way that I've been able to figure it out is by equipping it. I'd really like to know before I buy it whether it's 1 or 2-handed so that I don't waste my money on something that I don't want. Suggestions?

You can usually tell from the name... battleaxes, warhammers, and greatswords are two handed. Swords, war axes, and maces are one handed.

2 handed weapons usually have the words "Greatsword" "Axe" and "Warhammer" on them. For axes, double bladed ones and ones with long handles are two handed.
